King of the Flattops, this Inspired By Gibson 1957 SJ-200 is the result of a brilliant collaboration between Epiphone and the luthiers at Gibson's Custom Shop. A solid Sitka spruce top is matched to the solid figured maple back and rims and is supported by Gibson's renowned X-bracing. The flame maple neck has a comfy "C" profile and is topped with a laurel fretboard adorned with graduated mother-of-pearl crown inlays.
The "open book" headstock has mother-of-pearl inlays including a Crown, the Epiphone logo and, around back, the double-diamond Inspired By Gibson insignia. A set of Gold plated Epiphone Deluxe tuners rounds out the headstock's features while LR Baggs' VTC under-saddle pickup and preamp system assures clear, natural reproduction through recording or PA desks, or a professional acoustic guitar amp such as the Traynor AM Standard. An Inspired By Gibson hardshell case is also included.
