Kalavera FX Amperious Overdrive (Trade In)

"This pedal is the culmination of months of work, I've been looking for an overdrive that would give me low gain fat tones to higher gain lead tones. The Amperius Overdrive is that overdrive. I began the design process by using a tube screamer as a starting point, from there I made dozens of changes including the inclusion of the Klon Centaur's input buffer, I believe it provides more clarity.

The result is a fatter, less mid focus pedal with many gain choices, more specifically you can choose the clipping diodes, Germanium or Schottky. Also, there is a switch that lets you choose either a low or high gain.
I personally like the Schottky diodes in the hi setting to get high gain lead tones. For fat medium gain tones I like to use the Germanium diodes in the low gain position.

Is it transparent? yes and no. In low gain settings it infuses less tonal flavor, that is, it sounds very transparent. The more the gain is increased, the more of its own tonal characteristics you will hear."
