These Aquarian pre-ported resonant bass drum heads have a 4 3/4" hole offset to one side that makes for easy miking and sound control. A protective vinyl material around the edge of the hole helps to prevent premature tearing. These 10mil heads are left wide open with no muting. The amount of muffling is left up to the discretion of the drummer.
